In Austin, a city with a lot of very environmentally consience people, a company was trying to build a wind farm in the hill country to provide energy to the city. One would have thought this would have been well received. Believe or not, certain environmentalists protested the idea, saying it was ugly to look at and destroyed the environment. You would think they would understand our need to reduce our dependency on foreign oil.
